MGFÜ Hungary is the national SME development agency in Hungary dedicated to the growth and competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises across the country. We provide a range of services tailored to the needs of the SME sector. On top of that we are managing grant calls fitting the needs of SMEs. In addition to our aforementioned areas of activities we actively participating in international consortium projects related to SME policy ensuring that international experiences get shared. MGFÜ operates under the ownership and supervision of the Ministry of National Economy.

From August 2024, the Hungarian Economic Development Agency (MGFÜ) has been responsible for the accreditation of institutions that train ESG consultants within its regulatory authority.

In 2025, the Economic Analysis Center was established as part of MGFÜ with the goal of supporting domestic businesses and economic actors through clear and comprehensive analyses.

Its research explores macroeconomic processes, key domestic and international trends, and the impacts of economic policy decisions.

The Center’s work is closely aligned with MGFÜ’s business development strategy, providing valuable insights that support Hungarian SMEs, businesses undergoing technological and organizational transformation, and stakeholders committed to sustainable economic growth.
